When I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted by one of the staff and asked how many was in my party, it was only me and I asked if I could just sit at the bar. I sat and again greeted by the bartender and got the rundown on specials and being gluten free what options I had. It was a great experience and was able to get a pasta dish that had gluten free pasta. I also asked if I could get a glass of wine that would pair well with my dish and the bartender did just that and it went very well; I even had a sec glass. The staff and atmosphere are great and relaxing; it did get busy while I was there but was still able to hear and talk with the bartender. I recommend that you stop by and give it a try. the food was great the wine was delicious and the staff was very attentive. thank you again for a wonderful experience.

We had a reservation at 7:30 to celebrate my birthday. The server was good at taking our order and when our food came about 10 minutes after eating our entree she asked if we needed to go boxes. I looked at her and said,”we’re still eating” we still had a full glass of wine. The food was delicious but we felt rushed after her comment. I kept seeing her watching us and she came to our table and it felt like she was rushing us. At about 8:45 she said she needed the table and she would be bringing the bill. Wow. I asked the manager on staff and he said we had been there since 7:30 and they had a 9:15 reservation. We felt really rushed and the staff were unprofessional regarding our dining experience. It felt they only cared about turning our table. It was a bummer being it was my Birthday celebration. And it didn’t feel welcoming.

i went a few weeks ago while i was in san francisco as a solo diner. lesson learned, DO NOT solo dine there! the hostess (she had mid length brown hair i think?) gave me SO many judgmental looks and even gave me a passive aggressive "oh.. just for one today?" when i first checked in with her. my waitress was so kind though, seemed very caring towards me and the diners next to me that she also served. i got the cacio e pepe and the spumoni gelato. let me say, i'm not italian but i KNOW a cacio e pepe shouldn't be as greasy as this one was. it felt like an oil slick in the back of my throat. the gelato was great though!!! all in all, will i go here again if i ever return to san fran? probably not. but it's probably great for the locals!

Excellent pasta and pizza. It is not easy to make a cacio e pepe this good, cooked al dente and just right. Cheese and pepper well balanced, full of flavour. We also had that bottarga and Meyer lemon, another amazing dish. Deep fried bottarga added texture and the aroma from Meyer lemon captured all senses. Pizza dough can perhaps be a little more airy but the kale pizza was quite tasty despite the dough comment. Desserts are ok and definitely not the star of the night.

Went here for happy hour today and honestly a really good deal. Arancini could have been a bit more creamy and flavorful on the inside but fried well and was good. Fungi pizza was good, a bit salty but as someone who isn’t the biggest mushroom fan I liked it. Four cheese was simple, could’ve used a bit more cheese I feel like, but the crust and flavor was good. Would come back for their happy hour deals and try more things on the menu
